Teams Meeting Toggle in Outlook Web

We recently turned off a feature that automatically adds a Microsoft Teams meeting when an event with other participants was created in Outlook Web (outlook.office.com).  This feature created challenges when Zoom was the meeting’s chosen teleconference platform as people accidently join the Teams meeting space instead of the Zoom. 

 

Based on your feedback, Teams meetings are now not automatically created in Outlook Web when you add attendees for meetings created after yesterday, Twosday, Feb 22.  If you have previously created meetings with erroneous Teams invites, you may need to recreate those meetings.
