Computer moves and our network

Hello Titans,


A friendly reminder that if you intend to move networked equipment such as desktops, laptop docks, or printers, we ask that you submit a support ticket or call your IT Helpline at 253-460-HELP (4357) so we may assist you in disconnecting and reconnecting your device.


To ensure the security of our data and systems only TCC-owned equipment may be plugged into our network.  Connecting personally-owned equipment to our campus network is not permitted.  As a safety precaution, the network connection may automatically turn off if equipment is moved without first contacting the IT Department.  These procedures are in response to increasingly sophisticated attacks against our data and systems.
