Campus Network Disruption 1/28/2018

Network Outage on 1/28/2018

On Sunday a IT monitoring system sent out an alert at 6:30 AM of an issues on the server. IT networking team was notified and responded immediately, tracing the issue to a faulty cable in Building 20. To restore service to the rest of the campus, building 20 was isolated by early Sunday afternoon.  IT networking team arrived early Monday morning and restored services by 7:30 AM.
