Student Username/Email Changes

As part of our ongoing efforts to ensure student computing experience at Tacoma Community College is optimal, we discovered that a subset of students needed a username update.  Usernames over 20 characters and usernames containing nonstandard characters were recently shortened to accommodate systems that are constrained by those parameters.

The only components changed were username and email address. To ensure that email continues to arrive seamlessly, we added the original email address as an alias to the new account. This means that email sent to both the old and new address will continue to arrive.    

We apologize for any adverse impacts as a result of this change.  IT Help Desk (for Faculty and Staff) and eLearning Help Desk (for Students) are available now to assist if necessary.
